Letter from the Editor

Dear Readers,

Spring semester is upon us!  In addition to the new classes, new friends, and new activities in your life, new things are happening here at Muse as well!  I have been reflecting on what I did with it last semester and brainstorming ways to improve it for spring.  In the fall, I interviewed student athletes, I reflected on life as a Multnomah student, and I spotlighted campus clubs.  I also featured poetry written by Multnomah students.  This blog was a pretty cool place to be last semester…but not many people were here.  This semester, I want to change that up.

Based on what I saw last semester, you readers like to see articles you can relate to!  The most popular Muse post from fall semester was “Hogwarts in Portland: Multnomah is my Home,” a reflection on the cozy, family atmosphere at Multnomah.  Everyone could relate to it, and I even mentioned specific students you all know!  My goal for spring semester, then, is to post more and more things about you and what you know.   I look forward to featuring the best-dressed Multnomah students in MU Street Style.  I look forward to presenting your Instagram photos in The Best of Instagram (tag @multnomahmuse to be noticed!).  I look forward to interviewing your favorite professors to get their perspective on life, school, and God.

The best way to connect with you is, of course, to feature your work.  Please submit poetry, fiction, non-fiction, artwork, photography, or anything else you have to multnomahmuse@gmail.com.  I will review your work and get back to you very soon!  Also feel free to contact me if you have any suggestions, comments, or questions, or use the Contact box below.  And keep reading the Muse!

Grace and Peace,
